 Who am I?

I am Dr Damien VIVET, Research Director HDR at ISAE-Supaero.
I am a member of Electronics, Optronics and Signal Department (DEOS) and more particularly of the Navigation Radar and Remote Sensing (NAVIRE) team.
My research topics mainly focus on Exteroceptive Navigation and scene understanding for autonomous robots in harsh environments.

 Teaching activities

My teaching activities mainly focus on:
- signal processing,
- Computer vision,
- Probabilistic Robotics: Simultaneous Localization and Mapping approaches (SLAM).

 Research topics

My research activities concern mainly signal processing and image processing applied to multi-modal perception and scene understanding. Until now, my activities deal with autonomous mobile systems, traffic analyses, urban scene understanding but also space exploration and navigation in harsh offroad environments.
