I am a distributed systems engineer and Associate Professor at ISAE-SUPAERO, specializing in fault-tolerant storage and transport architectures, with 15+ years of experience spanning both research and industry. My work is grounded in erasure coding, a mathematical technique that enables reliable data reconstruction under partial loss, applicable to both storage systems and network protocols.
I co-authored RFC 9407 (IETF), defining a real-time network coding protocol (Tetrys) that was commercially transferred to a global CDN leader. I also co-founded Speeryt, a deep-tech startup commercializing erasure coding IP.
My recent work focuses on verifiable distributed storage, combining erasure coding with cryptographic proof systems (polynomial commitments and zero-knowledge proofs) to build storage architectures where data integrity can be mathematically guaranteed.
Research Interests :
- Erasure Coding : distributed storage and reliable transport
- Verifiable Distributed Storage (FEC + cryptographic proofs)
- Applied Cryptography : zero-knowledge proofs, polynomial commitments
- Peer-to-peer architectures and decentralized systems
Teaching :
