Since February 1st, 2015, I am professor at ISAE in Probability and Statistics in the department of complex systems. Historically, my research interests lied in applied probability, and I have been working on renormalization techniques (functional law of large numbers and central limit theorem) applied to branching processes and models of communication networks. My PhD thesis is available here and by HDR manuscript here.
Since my arrival at ISAE SUPAERO, my interests have switched. From a mathematical perspective, I am now working on statistical problems related to reliability theory. For instance, I am currently working on analysing the behavior of importance sampling in high-dimension, which is the subject of Jason Beh's PhD thesis.
Moreover, I have begun a completely different stream of research, and I am now actively working in the field of aeronautics and more specifically on sustainable aviation. One of my current project is for instance to broaden the analysis of the environmental impact of the aviation sector beyond climate, which is the subject of Bastien Païs' PhD thesis.
